He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick and Verda Irene Stackhouse (Kardatzke); his wife Shirley; his grandson Christopher Stackhouse; and his brother Jack Stackhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Stackhouse (Teresa), Rebecca Reed (Ted) and Susan Neltner (Larry); his grandchildren, Christina Sams (Todd), Heather Bumgarner (Greg), Daniel Reed (Cathy), David Reed (Madeline), Caitlin Elsea (Zakk), Harrison Reed, Michelle Brewster (Kiel), Virginia Stackhouse, Jeanette Thayer, Timothy Jacob and Jena Norrod (Nik); and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Maddie, Tye, Macie, Tison, Samantha, Jacob, Maire, John Carl, Henry, Michael, Jolene, Ellie, Michaela, Greyson, Nya, Silas, Soloman, Noah, Felicity, Emelia and Olivia.
