He was predeceased by: his parents, Ditlef Orsland and Beatta Orsland; and his wife Betty Orsland. He is survived by: his children, Kristin Orsland, Bret Orsland (Rhoberta), Eric Orsland (Laura) and Susan Smiley (Matthew); his grandchildren, Reagan, Harrison, Taylor, Grace, Ella, Sophie, Ethan and Norah; his sister Beverly Evenson; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Hope.
