He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fleming Hughes and Emma Hughes Mott; his wife Glenda "Susie" Hughes of Hendersonville, TN; his sons, David Hughes (Deannie) of Bethpage, TN and Larry Hughes (Mollie) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchild Erin Muncie (Luke) of Fairhope, AL; his sons, Matthew Hughes (Kacie) of Portland, TN, Nathan Hughes of Orange Beach, AL, Alex Jay "AJ" Hughes (Hannah) of Hartsville, TN and Carson Hughes (Christian) of Cleveland, TN; his stepgrandsons, Ryland and Beckton Doll of Raleigh, NC; his brother-in-law Allen Henson (Myrna) of Kiln, MS; his niece Angela Owen (David) of Franklin, TN; his nephew Chris Henson (Trish) of Franklin, TN; and his great grandchild Daxton Hughes of Fairhope, AL..
