It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Curtis Lovelace III of Hendersonville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, D. C. and Gladys Childress Lovelace, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Chambers Lovelace; his children, Tracy Lovelace Reynolds (Jay) and Benjamin C. Lovelace; and his grandchildren, Avery Jayne Reynolds and Ryder Bledsoe Lovelace.

Since David loved the Spring and we all recognize the need for our prolonged fight against COVID-19 (especially with Kathy's continued positive test results), the family has decided to wait until then to schedule a Remembrance Service.

Many want to honor David and may do so with a donation to Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, the Sumner County Humane Society or a charity that is important to you.

“I have a lot of sweet memories of David. We first met when we were 5 or 6, and we went through elementary school, high school, and college together. He was a loyal, generous friend. I sincerely regret that we followed different paths after college. I never, however, forgot the times I spent with David. My sincerest condolences to his family, but especially his lovely wife, Kathy.””
