He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ratcliff and Morene Cole Ratcliff; his wife Mary Sharon Ratcliff; and his siblings, Walter Ratcliff, Nancy Sherwood and Lillian Krailo.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Ratcliff, John Ratcliff (Carey), Dan Ratcliff, Jr. (Stefania) and David Ratcliff (Joslyn); his grandchildren, Noah, John, Charlie, Dorothy, Mary and Kelly Ratcliff; and his sister Janice Shotts (Howard).
