He was predeceased by: his mother Kimberly Ann Crouch Settle. He is survived by: his father Charles A. Settle Jr.; his grandmother Rachael C. Settle; and his aunts, Deborah Timmons and Patti Burke.

In lieu of customary floral tributes the family has requested that donations be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville and the Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
