He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elmer and Allie Hardaway Garrett; his children, Melissa Garrett and Mike Williams; and his siblings, Ruth Bolton, Clyde Garrett, Floyd Garrett, Porter Garrett, J. D. Garrett and Homer Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Garrett of Hendersonville, TN; his siblings, Clifton Garrett of White House, TN, Paul Garrett of White House, TN, Willard Garrett of White House, TN, Roger Garrett and Sue Ann Williams of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Jason, Missy, Hannah, Olivia, Brennen, Heather and Kayla; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Addi, Ensley, Bonnie and Cooper.
