With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Scott (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scott and Bessie Raymer; his brothers, Donnie Scott and Jimmy Scott; and his nephew Sean McGowan.
He is survived by: his wife Gail McGowan Scott; his children, Julie Barnard (Corey), Kathy Crawford (Heath) and Billy Scott Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Barnard, Cortney Barnard, Alison Crawford and Erin Crawford; his brother Jerry Scott (Patsy); his brothers-in-law, Leslie McGowan and Bobby McGowan (Sally); and his niece Sarah Jennings (William).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beech High School athletics (checks can be made out to BHS Athletics/CO Boots, 3126 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075) or Hendersonville First United Methodist Church.
