She was predeceased by: her parents, George Monroe and Bertha Johnson Jernigan; her husband Howard E. Bassham, Sr.; and her daughter Sharon M. Bassham. She is survived by: her children, June Searcy (Rick) and George Michael Bassham; her sister-in-law Faye Sesler (Dwight); her grandchildren, Richie Searcy (Wendy), Amanda Lemons, Stephen Bassham (Stephanie), Galvagno and George Michael Bassham, II; her great grandchildren, Alysha, Cody Searcy, Cayla Lemons (Dominion), Watts and Peyton Lemons; and her great great grandchild Kalon N. Watts.
