She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn W. Penick and Maudie D. Penick (Moss); her son Steven D. Brown; and her siblings, Jerry Penick, Jack Penick (Sue) and Peggy Penick Merrell.
She is survived by: her husband John D. Brown (JD); her daughter Kathy L. Shannon (Bob); her granddaughters, Roxanne Nicole Vaughn, Rebecca Shannon and Robyn Shannon; her great grandchildren, Bryce Bullard and Sebastian Bullard; and her sister-in-law Verna Penick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
