It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Mae Jones of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Joelton, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Webb Stafford; and her siblings, Billy Gene Stafford and Janie Stafford Holmes. She is survived by: her children, James Jones, Jr. of Hendersonville, Betty Jones-Dile of Smithville, Sue Stafford Massey (Ronald) of Lebanon and Margaret Jones (Randy Casteel) of Lebanon; her siblings, Webb Stafford, Jr. (Nancy) of Smithville and Margaret Dixon of Hendersonville; and her grandchildren, Cassie Hill, Chrystal Hill, Parker Odell Doney and James DeWayne Doney. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
