She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Young and Vashti Young; her husband L. H. Newell; her brother Bodine; her sister-in-law Eurora Young; her sister Waurine; and her brother-in-law James McMillin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie and Connie Newell; and her nieces and nephews, Margo Black (Mark), Marlea Johnson (David), Nicky Young and Tim McMillin (Donna). She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews; and thirteen great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Goodpasture Christian School or the Missions Fund at Hendersonville Church of Christ.
