She was predeceased by: her parents, Crystal Ellis and Annie Ellis; her husband Col. Jack Hayes; and her siblings, Robert Ellis and Mary Lou Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Shahrivar (Shahryar), Deborah Hayes and Melissa Hayes; her grandchildren, Shireen Shahrivar (Keith Bolling) and Phillip Shahrivar (Courtney Madsen); and her great grandchild Finley Bolling.
