He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Searcy and Wilma Dean Searcy. He is survived by: his wife Rita Searcy; his daughters, Kristin Salaway (Mike) and Misti Searcy; and his siblings, Debbie Payne (Lou) and Charles "Rick" Searcy (June). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
