He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John "Johnny" William and Mary Elizabeth Schultz Mayfield; his wife Gail Smith Mayfield; his children, Angela "Angie" Mayfield Keel (Barry) of Starkville, MS and William Donald "Donny" Mayfield, Jr. of Germantown, TN; his grandchildren, Brandon Keel (Caitlin), Brody Keel (Laurel) and Bethany Hunt (Casey); his children, Sarah Mayfield, Lauren Mayfield and John William Mayfield; his great grandchildren, Judah, Amos and Nora Keel; his grandchildren, Lucy, Eloise Keel and Hudson Hunt; his adoptive son Mike Young; and his pet Sweetie Pie.
