He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hunter and Georgie Elizabeth Freeman Hunter; and his wife Nila June Pendergraft Hunter. He is survived by: his daughters, Merle Lynn "Missy" and Lisa Schaeper (Steve) of Bulverde, TX; his grandsons, Nathan Schaeper and Justin Schaeper (Mariah) of Lafayette, IN; his great grandchild Ben Schaeper of Lafayette, IN; and his sister Linda Lyles (Don) of Tallahassee, FL..
