He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duncan and Cora Mae Blankenship Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wood Roberts; his children, Paula Roberts White (Jimmy), Robin Roberts (Jan), Charles Roberts (Gail), Bob Roberts (Becky), Tim Ellis, Margo Ellis Bass, Donna Tate (Bobby), Krista Ellis and Peyton Ellis; his grandchildren, Jerrod Cagle (Stephanie), Julia Stanfill (Stephen), Robert Roberts (Ashely), Ryan Roberts (Ashley), Tabitha Wuoo (Neal), Tenille Grobmeyer (Greg), Tera Duke (Jeremy), Kelsey Inman (Dustin), Tristan Roberts (Bianca), Colin, Luke Roberts, Will, Katie Tate, Mallory Bridges (Joe), Stephanie Barrells and Kaley Ellis; and his siblings, James, John L., Willie Howard Roberts and Elizabeth "Sugar" Weatherly. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
