He is survived by: his wife Ann Shelton Smith of Henderson; his daughters, Sherry Carpenter of Henderson and Charolett Welch (Michael) of Henderson; his grandchildren, Shelby Nanney (Ethan), Perry Welch, Elizabeth Welch and Tiffany Barton (John); his great grandchildren, Lakelyn Barton, Gunner Barton and Oakleigh Nanney; and his sisters, Jackie Fletcher (Joe) of Henderson, Betty Terry (Kenny) of Henderson and Donna Murphy (Wendell) of Henderson.
