He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee Wray and Lessie Mae Dickson Wray; his brothers, Glen Wray, Jessie Wray and Johnnie Wray; and his son Shane Wray.
He is survived by: his children, Kip Wray, Keith Wray, Daniel Wray, Kimberly Taylor, Misty Wray and Shelia Hardee; and his siblings, Billy Wray, Calvin Wray, Roger Ray, Rachel Glover, Artelier Cunningham and Lettie Holder. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
