She is survived by: her husband Brian Lamar Gooch; her sons, Bill Dempsey (Andrea) of Jackson, Jeff Dempsey of Pinson, Bob Dempsey of Beech Bluff and Shane Dempsey of Jackson; her stepson Kristopher Gooch (Jennifer) of Jackson; and her brother Roy Hayley of Henderson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
