She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Bryan Rhodes and Martha Hazel Ryals Rhodes; her stepfather Hartle Hayre; her spouse John Howard Thomas; her son Steve Thomas; and her sisters, Thelma Peddy and Nelma Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Thomas of Henderson, Darryl Thomas (Deborah) of Henderson and Greg Thomas (Sherry) of Henderson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
