She was predeceased by: her father Leonardo Salerno. She is survived by: her mother Carolina Salerno; her daughter Mariacarla Perrone; and her siblings, Antonino Salerno, Rosalia Salerno, Sergio Salerno and Giovanni Salerno. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and eight great nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing protocol Maria's family will be arranging a Memorial Mass for extended family and friends to pay their respects at a later date once NYS has lifted its "pause.".
