He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Britton and Bernice Meek Britton; his wife Judy Britton; and his siblings, Max Britton, Ted Britton and Maxine Smith.

He is survived by: his former wife Judy Booth; and his sister Christine Jones of Adamsville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
