He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Peter and Anna Marie Peter; and his siblings, Phillip, Edwin, Arman, Harold Peter, Ida Peter, Vera Doggett, Clara Holton, Betty Hall, Esther Rogers, Thelma Wolf and Loretta Dreiling.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Cook Peter; his children, Mark Peter (Lisa), James Peter (Kathryn) and Johanna Jess (Neil); and his sister Delores Elliot (Hank). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Bernice Cook Peter who lovingly cared for him at home throughout several years of his battle with Alzheimer's disease.
