We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2020, at the age of 85, John Burkhead of Henderson, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew and Lula Bell Waldrop Burkhead; his wife Shirley Austin Burkhead; his daughter Teresa Burkhead Colbert; and his sisters, Bonnie Davis, Alice Faye Miller and Ruby Burkhead.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Lauren, Kaitlyn and Emily Colbert; his son-in-law Tim Colbert of Henderson; his brothers, Tony Burkhead (Pat) of Henderson, Dub Burkhead of Henderson and Kenneth Burkhead (Teresa) of Henderson; and his close friend Peggy Lard of Henderson.
The family has requested all guest where fascial covering and exercie social distancing.
