She was predeceased by: her parents, Alger Smith and Dovie Brown Smith; her spouse Major Wayne Thomas; her son Dennis Thomas; and her siblings, E. C. Smith, Bobby Smith, Opal Austin and Ola Hart.
She is survived by: her sons, Jackie Thomas (Carolyn) of Henderson, Johnny Thomas (Lorena) of Henderson and Jimmy Thomas of Henderson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
