He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Houston and Madgie Mae Butler Carroll; and his brothers, Thomas Wayne and Leon. He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his daughter Janet; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Morris, Kim Carroll and Wesley Freeman; his cousin Carroll Priddy; and his friend Randy Butler (Red).
