He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Bishop and Toker Rouse; and his sisters, Sylvia Louise Johnson and Frances Vann. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Matthews Rouse of Henderson; his children, Jacob A. "Jay" Rouse Jr. of Henderson, Lorrie Ann Ashbrook (David) of Henderson and Lisa Annette Russell of Jackson; and his sisters, Lois Jean Bishop of Henderson, Mildred Faye Goodwin of Henderson, Barbara Ann Flatt of Logansport, IN and Kathy Lou Vann of Pinson. He is also survived by three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
