He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Garner and Lois Wamble Garner; and his granddaughter Kendall Star Garner. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Byrd Garner; his sons, Michael Casey Garner of Counce, TN and Kevin Reid Garner of Counce, TN; his grandchildren, Alyssa Garner and Bryson Moore; and his sister Sheila Fesmire (Larry) of Newbern, TN..
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the White Sulphur Cemetery White Sulphur Cemetery.
