She was predeceased by: her parents, W. C. Galbraith and Arlene Galbraith; her son Anthony Dale; and her brothers, Charles, Frankie and Benny Galbraith.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Melton; her children, Mary Lou (Harvey Rimmer), Carol (Dennis Lester), Bobby Stephen (Kim Melton) and Pam (Windell Mask); her sister Janette Tillman; and her sisters-in-law, Minnie Melton, Betty Ann Galbraith, Ann Galbraith and Donna Galbraith. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
