He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz B. Mayfield and Lillie Augusta Johnson Mayfield; his wife Nancy Naylor Mayfield; his son Paul Mayfield; and his siblings, Roy Mayfield, Garland Mayfield, Raymond Mayfield, Buford Mayfield, Walter Mayfield, Homer Mayfield, Ruth Patterson and Ruby Patterson.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Mayfield of Madison, AL; his grandson Tanner Mayfield (Caroline); his great grandchild Emmett Mayfield; his grandchild Naylor Mayfield; and his daughter-in-law Ramona Mayfield.
