He is survived by: his wife Midge Pickett Petty; his parents, Charles Allen and Karen Beth Maline Petty of Three Way; his daughter Taylor Petty of Paris, TN; his stepdaughter Megan Smith of Henderson; and his sister Susan Elizabeth Petty Wagner of Medina. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
