It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Thompson of Henderson, Tennessee, born in Tecumseh, Missouri, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Thompson and Florence Thompson; and his siblings, Darahlene Pitchford, Mary Tillman, Velma Mallow and Leo Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Hambleton of Henderson; and his children, Mike Thompson (Cindi) of Wentzville, MO, Mark Thompson (Amanda) of Pulaski, TN and Dana King (Jeremy) of Selmer, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Freed Hardeman University Associates Scholarship fund.
