She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Maness Brigance and Willard Messer; her husband George Henry Bishop, Sr.; and her children, Walter Lee Butler, Willard Perry Butler, Victor Craig Butler and Marjorie Lynn Butler.
She is survived by: her son George Michael Butler (Sue) of Deltona, FL; her stepchildren, George Henry Bishop, Jr. of Morris Chapel, TN, Bobby Bishop (Ganetta) of Adamsville, TN and Linda Diane Pendley of Adamsville; and her grandchildren, Raymond Butler, Julie Butler, Gennifer Boyer (Brandon), Heather Thayer (Phillip), Gregory Carron (Amirah), Tyler Carron, Chris Bishop (Marion), Sabrina Bishop Pipes (Jimmy), Kristy Stamper (Mark), Laura Baker (Aaron), Mandy Russell (Josh) and Nicole Sisk (Ryan). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Henderson (304 Crook Ave, Henderson, TN 38340). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the New Friendship Cemetery (760 New Friendship Rd, Beech Bluff, TN 38313).
