With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Phillips (Henderson, Tennessee), who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee and Cora Celeste Wilson Phillips; his wife Dominga Torres; and his sons, Paul, Silver Martinez, Ruben and Robin Morales.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur Martinez of Salina, KS, Esther Mahavier (Russell) of Austin, TX and Celeste Arredondo (Urban) of Austin, TX; his siblings, John Phillips of Toone, TN and Patsy Tobias of Pflugerville, TX; his grandchildren, Amber, Jerry Morales, Matthew Mahavier, Olivia Arredondo, Evan and Jake Martinez; and his close friend Jovita "Jo" Morgan of Malesus.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors (619 E Main St, Henderson, TN 38340). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cave Springs Cemetery (1800 Cave Springs Rd, Henderson, TN 38340).
