He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Ruth Porter Askew; his children, Randall Askew and Jamie Barcroft; and his sister Earlene Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Askew (Debra) of Henderson, Jerry Wade (Brenda) of Austin, AR, Frankie L. Copeland (Jason) of Henderson and Teresa Ramey (Ted) of Linden; his children-in-law, Tammy Askew and Clay Barcroft; and his sister Leahrae Taylor of Jackson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
