She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Flinn and Lois Lee Flinn; her husband L. D. Powell; her son Mark Powell; and her grandson Spenser Flinn Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Powell (Karen), Lee Powell (Jeanie) of Bartlett and Ann Powell McQuaid of Thompson, GA; and her grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Rachell Powell and Lily Powell Tupman (Asher).
