She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Griffith; her husband Virgil Talley; her daughter Karen Newport; and her siblings, Buddy, Bob, Dickie, Clayton, Willard Griffith, Hazel Brewster, Helen McGill, Mary Estes, Shirley and Juanita Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Peachie Hutson of Huntsville, Tennessee, James Heath (Karen), Richard Griffith (Angie) and Ronnie Griffith (Kathy); her sister Wilma Jean Newport of Huntsville, Tennessee; and her close friends, Jennifer Calhoun, Tony Harness, Floyd Cooper and Margaret Honeycutt of Huntsville, Tennessee. She is also survived by 13 grandkids, 35 great- grandkids, 12 great-great grandkids.
