He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sephus Rogers and Mary Geneva Rogers (Sexton); and his siblings, Harold, Bobby, Charlie, Louise, Bessie, Shirley and Liddy June.
He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Rogers (Melba).
