He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Virgil Cecil and Gracie Goad Cecil; his brother Rev. Milford E. Cecil; and his niece Tammy Cecil Brawner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Phillips Cecil; his children, Brooke Cecil (Mark Davenport) of Morristown and Jason Cecil (Amy) of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandchildren, Katie and Jackson Cecil of Mt. Juliet, TN; his brothers, Wendell Cecil (Joyce) of Helenwood and Vaughn Cecil (Ali) of Crossville; and his sister-in-law Janet Cecil of Helenwood.
