She was predeceased by: her husband Barney McCoy; her granddaughter Kellie Asberry Walker; and her great grandchild Kip McCoy Walker. She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Asberry (Jeff) of Helenwood and Sandra Green (Ed) of Cary; her granddaughters, Amanda Overton (Josh), Katherine Green, Melissa Stone (Josh) and Lexi Lemaster (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Stella, Clara Overton, Shelbie, Vera Walker and Fletcher Overton.

In Lieu of flowers, she has requested a memorial donation to be to: Kip's KlosetC/O Children's Center of Scott County.
