She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Sheckels and Doxie Sheckels; her husband James Howard Posey; her son Carl Lee Posey; her grandchildren, Heather Bridges and Michael Jeffers; her siblings, Hayden Sheckels of Indiana, Richard Sheckels of Indiana, Ella May Snow of Harriman and Rose Pelkington of Indiana; and her parents-in-law, George and Maude Posey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Harness (Travis) of Helenwood, Carol Honeycutt of Helenwood and Veloris Posey of Winfield; her grandchildren, Cassie Abbott (Alax), Rose Goad (Brett), James Wesley, Trevor Harness, Jason Harness and Tony Jeffers; her great grandchildren, Amaya Pace, Rhett Goad, Jackson Abbott and Taylen LaRae Goad; her brothers, Robert Sheckels (Debra) of Fort Wayne, IN and Harold Sheckels (Norma) of Freemont, IN; her son-in-law Junior Honeycutt; and her close friends, Gale Lewallen and Judy Jones. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
