She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaty West and Hilma Sheppard West; her aunt Bernice Sheppard Watson; and her cousin Larry Watson. She is survived by: her husband Jack Austin Keeton; her brothers, Marshall West and Bobby West; her close friends, Sharon Boyatt and Barbara Terry; her son-in-law Chris Land; her children, Wesley Keeton (Kimberly) of Knoxville, Deana Keeton of Clinton, TN and Keven Keeton (KC) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Alora Russell (Nick) of Clinton, Drew Keeton, Logan and Emma Keeton; and her great grandchild Elliott Russell.
In Lieu of flowers, Ruth wanted donations made to the Scott County Homeless Shelter (pinnacleresourcecenter.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
