He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ollie Hooks, Rev. Farley Hooks, Bill and Dolly Thornton; his aunt Mabel "Ruth" Thornton; his uncle Wendall Thornton; and his brother Willie.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Thornton and Brenda Thornton; and his sister Sonya Keith (Jerry). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
