It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernice Chandler of Heiskell, Tennessee, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Earl Haynes; her husband Howard "Hub" Chandler; her son Damon Chandler; and her siblings, Arbutus "Bootie" Allen, Ida Gessel, Ethel Mae Bell and Rodger Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Thaxton (Vicky) of Mims, FL, Dreama Stair of Clinton, Will Chandler (Pattie) of Mims, FL, Chris Chandler (Sheila) of Heiskell, Ron Chandler (Linda) of Heiskell, Earl Chandler (Stacy) of Heiskell and Bronson Chandler of Heiskell; and her brothers, Gerald of Sissonville, WV. and Darrell Haynes of Sissonville, WV.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
