She was predeceased by: her parents, David Roy and Ibbie Warwick Elkins; and her sisters, Donia Stooksbury and Opal Brummitte. She is survived by: her siblings, Wyatt, Burl, Earl Elkins, Minnie Elkins and Owen Elkins (Julia); her niece Becky; her nephews, Brent, Mark, Ben, Dennis, Gordon and Richard; and her great-nephews, Brad and Nick.
