He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray and Cyble Raley Ridenour; and his nephew Joey Hatmaker. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Ridenour; his sisters, Sandy Kanipe (James) and Patti Curchy (Jon); and his mother-in-law Jackie Steinkuehler.
