He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Davis and Mildred Davis; and his siblings, Lewis Davis, Hazel Ruble (Bill), Mary Herrell (Jim) and Una Lunsford.

He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Davis (Betsy) of Arkansas, Jimmy Ray Davis, Betty Jean Davis (Jerry) of Heiskell, TN. and Martha Stringfield (Jack) of Heiskell, TN.; and his sister-in-law Juanita Davis. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, plus 4 great-great grandchildren.
