He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cox and Nola Cox. He is survived by: his children, Don Cox II and Amanda; his son-in-law Jake Townsend; his grandchildren, Daisha, Alexis, Dylan, Cadi, Cameron, Miekayle, Emily, Willoh and Jurnee; his great grandchildren, Amaleigh and Brex; and his siblings, Ralph, Starell, Carol and Shirley.
