She was predeceased by: her husband William Hooks; her parents, Zemp Ailor and Johnnie Ailor; her adoptive parents, Scott Wilson and Stella Wilson; and her siblings, Leo Coppock, Willie Wilson, Hubert Wilson, Linda Carroll and Betty Ailor.
She is survived by: her children, Angela McMahan (Leonard) and Rex Hooks (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hooks, Tagan Hooks and Caleb McMahan; and her siblings, Martha, Lois, Theo and Darrell.
